Contract Review – We will review your third party contracts and agreements from an insurance and risk management perspective to see that your coverage meets the contract requirements. Onerous contracts - Some contracts mandate that the Contractor Group not only defend indemnify and hold harmless the Company Group for any and all damages of the Company Group and Company Group invitees and subs, but also defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Company Group for any and all damages of the Company Group invitees and subs whether of not you have insurance to cover the loss. Example: defending & indemnifying the Company Group for any and all claims involving subs, invitees, and employees of both the Contractor Group and of the Company Group, regardless if the Company was solely and grossly negligent, or regardless of whether or not a Company Group’s vessel was unseaworthy. <Back to the top>
Certificate Delivery – We have an immediate response for certificate for insurance distribution. We e-mail to your customer or lender with a copy to you. This includes review and thorough completion of customized certificate forms from customers of certificate review companies like ICA. <Back to the top>
Operations Review – We will visit with you on an as needed basis to assure that you are aware of exposures to risk and any solutions we may suggest. These solutions may include loss control and safety issues, insurance products, or contractual liability concerns. <Back to the top>
Safety services coordination and intervention with the carriers – We have assisted and will continue to assist your Safety Manager with suggestions and materials related to driver safety and safety on the yard, and intervene and mediate recommendation compliance issues with carriers. <Back to the top>
Subcontractor Certificates of Insurance – We will review certificates of welders and other subcontractors to point out coverage questions and carrier strength concerns. <Back to the top>
Policy Accuracy – We examine your policies for accuracy and content before delivery to you. This is an extremely important function that checks not only limits, rates, dates and deductibles, but the more difficult function of checking endorsements, exclusions and policy forms. Each policy is reviewed by three people. Policy delivery will be within 60 days. <Back to the top>
Coverage Specifications – We will negotiate the broadest coverage possible and will set minimum specifications for carriers to provide. The goal is to have your policies cover as many insurable, relevant risks as possible, and to have those at the lowest premiums of all the companies that quote. Claim Guidance – Our staff will update you on all major claims. We have developed relationships with the adjusters which allow for a high level of personal attention. Open claims and their inflated reserves have a negative effect on experience modification and future rates. Quarterly Claim Review – We will review open claims with you on a quarterly basis. Your input will often allow claims to be investigated and closed more efficiently. Again, closed claims mean lower loss history numbers.

A complete review will result in suggested changes or additions to your employment practices procedures. This process greatly reduces your exposure to ERISA, other government fines, EEOC violations and litigation. It also will create goodwill between you and your valuable employees.
